Half Crown Braid Tutorial
1. Begin by working NEVO Hydra Pearls through the hair to create movement and shine.
2. Section out the front hairline.
3. Take a triangular section of hair from the corner of the forehead to the back parting.
4. Divide this section into three strands.
5. For this Dutch-style braid, you will begin by crossing the middle strand over the outer strand.
6. Work around the head while gathering hair into the outer strand then crossing under the middle strand.
7. Once you reach the back of the head, discontinue pulling strands into the outer strands and finish the braid.
8. Secure with a clip and set aside.
9. Follow steps 3-8, beginning on the opposite side of the head.
10. Loosen the braid by lightly pulling it apart from the bottom of the braid up.
11. Cross one end of the braid beneath the other and fasten with bobby pins, crossing one over the other.
12. Pull the end of the other braid over and beneath the secured braid, much like tying a knot. Secure with bobby pins, crossing one over the other.
