What are your favorite styling products this season?
TWIST Fiber Paste and DETAIL Shine & Define Wax are great, and will go a long way due to their versatility. Textures are definitely in – especially mixing textures with smoothing! Try a nice sleek ponytail with a textured bun, using DETAIL Shine & Define Wax to smooth out the sides and TWIST Fiber Paste for added texture throughout the ends. It’s a great look to ring in the fall season!
Can you cocktail the styling products?
Yes. Unlike many other oil-based styling products, all of our styling products are water-based which makes it very easy to mix and customize support and control.
What are your recommendations for clients with curly hair?
I always encourage my clients to embrace their curls! Before diffusing, try mixing CURVES Curl Enhancer with RELAX Straightening Crème. These products work together in perfect tandem to define the curl shape and eliminate any unnecessary frizz. Go back in with a curling iron to get the pieces that need an extra touch, and finish with a light spray of Super Shape Hair Spray. They will be so pleased with the gorgeous volume, shine and natural looking curl!
I love braids. What products would you use to achieve them?
From smooth and sleek to messy twists - braids are so hot and all over the runways! I love using DETAIL Shine & Define Wax for smoother braids and Fresh! Volumizing Dry Shampoo for messy, voluminous braids.
Do you have any styling tips for a glamorous event?
The most popular and easiest look for this season is the Five Finger Pinup. First, prep the hair with RELAX Straightening Crème and do a rough blow out. Curl and lightly spray with our working hair spray, Super Shape. Use Fresh! for volume and texture. Pull hair back or to the side and secure with a band or pins. Spray with Super Shape for more hold and to add volume to the ponytail. Cup the curls in your hand and place against the ponytail. At every finger, add a pin. Hence…the five-finger pinup! Lastly, spray FINISH Rock Hard Mist for all-night hold.
Is Super Shape Hair Spray a finishing spray?
